BulkUpdate is a model viewing and bulk editing tool for use with Advantage Gen. It allows detailed examination of the contents of models (their objects, properties and associations), and bulk update of object properties working with Microsoft Excel. It operates independently of the Advantage Gen toolset, via the Advantage Gen APIs.

BulkUpdate is a 32-bit Windows program which runs on the User's workstation. It works directly with Advantage Gen models on the workstation and/or client/server encyclopedia to read and update model information. It does not use any intermediate storage (unlike the companion ModelReporter product from Rainier).

All model contents can be accessed. Subsets of model information can be defined and viewed in an accessible ListView format. From here the model data can be updated directly or exported to Excel for analysis, editing, spellchecking, etc. and then re-imported.
