Introduction

DBA2ERwin is a tool-integration product which allows information stored in the COOL:DBA and COOL:BusinessTeam logical and physical database design tools to be loaded into the ERwin data modeling tool. It operates as an ERwin 4.x add-in, loading VAR format files created by the COOL:DBA and COOL:BusinessTeam export facility.

DBA2ERwin stores mappings of DBA and BusinessTeam objects against ERwin objects, so it is possible to see the origins of a particular ERwin object, even after a name change.

DBA2ERwin is unique in its capability to generate linked ERwin logical and physical models from sets of BusinessTeam and DBA models which have been engineered with COOL:Xtras Mapper.

DBA2ERwin makes it easy to migrate from DBA and BusinessTeam to ERwin.
