ModelReporter offers several reports which are not designed for documentation but as developer or project manager aids. For example you can produce a Word document listing READ statements in action diagrams for performance review, optionally highlighting unusual constructs for closer inspection. Or you can create an Actual Effects Matrix in Excel, showing the complete set of actual entity actions of procedures and other action diagrams, optionally recursing through nested action diagrams.
The custom query and Quick SQL facilities of ModelReporter are a powerful analysis tool. Developers can ask questions about the contents of their models and get answers immediately - without having to upload.
ModelReporter is a powerful QA tool. Many of the supplied custom queries and specifications support completeness, correctness and consistency checking of different parts of Composer models for use at different stages of development. Or you can define your own set of QA checks and combine them to produce a single QA report highlighting deviations from standards.
ModelReporter also comes with a Procedure Development template for the Project Manager. This allows the creation of an Excel spreadsheet, pre-populated with procedure step names, which allows development progress to be tracked against plan. As with all ModelReporter extracts, the Procedure Development template is completely customisable - you can use it as it is or adapt it to the way you work.
